A Two Day Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on “Strengthening Assessment and Evaluation Practices” was organised at Cambridge International School, Jammu, on 14th & 15th July, 2023. The teachers of various private schools attended the interactive workshop held under the aegis of the CBSE (CoE, Chandigarh).

The erudite CBSE Resource Persons, Dr. Shuchita Gupta, Principal, Unique International School, Jammu, and Dr. Anita Sharma, a renowned figure in the world of education and personal development meticulously helped the participating teachers to chalk out a road map for customising the assessment pattern as per the curriculum.
The main objective of this workshop was to make the participants understand the integral elements of the latest structure of assessment and to optimise learning and development in all students through regular assessment and to optimize learning and develop in all students.

Teachers were given hands-on experience for making a “blue print” on how to prepare question papers based on Bloom’s Taxonomy in their subjects.

The participating teachers were seen developing effective rubrics for competency-based questions in the workshop.

Keeping this inspiring quote in mind, the students of Cambridge International School, Jammu celebrated 74th Republic Day and promised to protect the Nation and our Flag.

he dance and the music enthralled everyone around which were presented with great zeal and patriotism.

The Bhomroo dance , patriotic rap and beat boxing were the highlights of the event performance.

The students very beautifully portrayed some of the Indian leaders who were part of Drafting committee Indian Constitution.

Our Honorable Principal CIS Mr. Birendra Prasad , respected Vice Principal CIS Ms Rajni Malhotra appreciated the students for their performances.

The event was concluded with the National Anthem.

Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing ,for laughter, for coming together with family and friends. It was surely a Christmas to remember at Cambridge International School .

The school wore a festive look with bells and beautiful decorated Christmas trees .

The children were taught about the birth of lord Jesus Christ. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcate among the students.

The delightful celebration included; children coming in red and white dress singing, dancing and sharing the merriment together.
